If you are a TikTok Shop Thailand seller with a basket around ฿400 in FMCG or beauty, holding one established listing with review history and deciding whether to open a new one for the 7 to 12 November window, the decision in front of you is not which discount to accept. It is which deadline you can still act on, and what each option costs you after the platform has taken its share. The Thai voucher tiers are not one programme with one rate. They are split by listing age, and the split is designed to make opening a new link attractive to you and expensive for you at the same time.
Take a SKU listed at ฿400, sold in the 7 to 12 November window. On a new short link the buyer sees 50% off and pays ฿200. The seller carries 70% of that ฿200 discount, so you absorb ฿140 and book ฿260. On an existing long link the buyer sees 35% off and pays ฿260, the seller carries 50% of the ฿140 discount, so you absorb ฿70 and book ฿330. Take TikTok Shop Thailand fees of 5.35% to 6.42% commission plus a 3.21% transaction fee plus a growth fee around 6.42% capped at ฿199: call it 8.6% plus 6.4% on the price the buyer pays. Goods at a 45% cost ratio are ฿180 either way. The new link nets ฿50.04. The old link nets ฿111.05. Same product, same cost, same campaign, and the new link has to sell 2.2 times as many units before it catches up.

Why the two tiers exist, and who they are designed for
Thailand files its 11.11 vouchers by listing age, and the arithmetic of that split is the whole decision. For non-Mall sellers, a new short link carries a discount of up to 50% with the seller funding 70% of it, which is 35% of the list price. An existing long link carries a discount of up to 35% with the seller funding 50%, which is 17.5% of list price. Mall sellers get a cheaper version of both: 30% seller share on the short link and 40% on the long link. All four file by 12 November. The design intent is visible once you write the seller share down: the platform is paying you to create new listings, because a new listing is new inventory supply on its marketplace, and it is charging you a premium for the discount depth that a 50% headline requires.
There is a fourth instrument in the Thai window that is cheaper than both co-funded tiers: the Brand Crazy Deals and Flash Sale slots, filed jointly as BCD, run up to 20% off with the seller funding 60% of the discount, which is 12% of list price, with a 12 November deadline. Twelve percent is less than a third of what the short-link voucher costs you. If your goal is volume inside six days, the cheapest volume in the window is the slot programme, not the co-funded voucher, and the slot programme does not require you to open a new listing.
Step 1 — Convert every tier into the seller share, not the headline discount
Every tier is quoted as a discount the buyer sees, and every tier is funded at a different ratio, so the headline number and the cost number are not the same number and do not even move in the same direction. Write two columns: what the buyer sees, and what comes off your side. A 50% headline with a 70% seller share is 35% of list price out of your pocket. A 35% headline with a 50% seller share is 17.5%. A 20% headline with a 60% seller share is 12%. Sorted by cost, the order is the reverse of the order sorted by headline, which is exactly why the headline is the number that gets quoted in the group chat.
The break-even is simple once the per-unit margin exists. New link nets ฿50.04, old link nets ฿111.05, so the new link needs 2.22 units for every unit the old link sells. Put your own forecast next to that ratio before you commit. If the old listing has been doing 300 units a day in comparable campaigns, the new link needs 666 a day to produce the same gross profit, which is a 122% lift on a listing with no reviews and no sales history. Discount depth does move volume, but a 15-point deeper discount does not reliably produce a 122% lift on a cold listing, and the first two days of a six-day window are the worst days to find out.
The tier-to-cost converter that turns any Thai voucher headline into what leaves your side is on the same page as the store dashboard — register with DAMI and ask for the voucher tier converter and it already has the 2.22 break-even multiple built in, so you can drop your own forecast into it.
Step 2 — Work out the break-even volume before you open a new listing
The slot programme has a different constraint from the voucher, and it is a constraint on eligibility rather than on margin: Flash Sale and Brand Crazy Deals slots are limited and often require a price that is genuinely the lowest in the last 30 days and below your current retail. If your listing already sits at a promotional price, you may not clear that bar without going lower than the campaign itself. Check the price history before you build the plan around the cheapest instrument, because the cheapest instrument is the one most likely to be unavailable.
Spreading across three instruments is better than committing to one, and it is also cheaper: BCD slots for the volume base at 12% seller cost, the long-link voucher for the headline depth at 17.5%, and the short link only if you have a genuinely new SKU with no history to protect. That combination carries an average seller cost closer to 15% than to the 35% a short-link-only plan would cost, and it keeps a listing with reviews in the campaign.

Step 3 — Use the Flash Sale and Brand Crazy Deals slots before the co-funded voucher
If the new link does win on volume, the old listing does not disappear, and the decision about it should be made in advance rather than in the middle of the window. Three options, and only one of them is usually right: keep both and split the range, retire the old one and migrate its traffic through bundle links, or keep the old one at full price as the comparison anchor. The third is the one sellers reach for and the one that costs most, because a full-price listing next to a 50% listing mostly teaches the algorithm that the full-price one does not convert.
Whatever you decide, write it down with a date attached, because the temptation inside the window is to keep every option open. A note that says the old listing converts to bundle-only links on 13 November is a decision; a note that says we will review it after the campaign is a wish.
Step 4 — Decide what happens to the old listing once the new one starts winning
The Thai window is six days, 7 to 12 November, and the KLS deadline for it is 5 November, so the creator side of the plan has three days left to file. If you are past that, the tier decision above is the whole campaign, and it should be made on the arithmetic rather than on which discount looks more competitive in the category. The category comparison is real, and it is the reason the deeper discount exists, but it is not the reason to take it.
One more thing worth checking before 7 November: whether your growth fee is capped. The growth fee sits around 6.42% and is capped at ฿199, so on a ฿400 basket the cap never binds and you pay the full percentage. On a ฿4,000 basket the cap binds hard. If your range spans both, the low-ticket SKUs are carrying a proportionally heavier fee load than the high-ticket ones, and that is backwards from how most sellers assume fee schedules work.
Where DAMI fits: three moves that keep both listings fed
DAMI brings an 8-million-plus creator database, competitor and competitor-store creator search, automated outreach tasks, AI-assisted outreach, AI video creation, sample management, campaign management, social media management, store analytics, and multi-store team dashboards into one place. Three moves cover this, and the first one is the only one that has to happen before 7 November.
Move 1 — Convert every tier into seller cost and sort by it
List the four Thai tiers with their headline discount and their seller share, multiply through to a single cost percentage, then sort by that column. The output is a ranking where the cheapest volume and the biggest headline are in different rows, which is the insight the campaign needs.
Move 2 — Put the break-even multiple against your own forecast
Take the per-unit margin from the sheet and divide the old link's margin by the new link's margin. The output is a single number, 2.22 in this example, that you can hold against your day-one forecast before you open a listing you cannot close.
Move 3 — Build the creator list for the six-day window only
Search by category and follower country, and brief for the specific product rather than the store, because a six-day window has no time to build awareness. The output is a short list of creators whose audience already buys the category, which is the only kind that converts inside six days.

Questions sellers ask about the Thai voucher tiers
What counts as a new short link for the Thai voucher tiers?
Listing age and price history, checked at filing. A listing that has no 30-day price history of its own is treated as new, which is why sellers are tempted to relist an established product to reach the 50% tier. Confirm the definition in Seller Centre before you build a plan on it.
Is the seller share calculated on the discount or on the price?
On the discount. A 50% headline with a 70% seller share is 35% of list price, not 70% of list price. This is the single most common misreading of the Thai tiers.
Can I use the Flash Sale slots and the co-funded voucher on the same SKU?
Usually not at the same time, and you would not want to. Stacking them means the discount funds itself twice out of your margin. Pick the instrument that matches the goal, volume or headline depth, and file the other one for a different SKU.
The growth fee cap of ฿199 — does it help or hurt me?
It helps high-ticket SKUs and does nothing for low-ticket ones. On a ฿400 basket the fee is the full percentage; on a ฿4,000 basket the cap cuts it sharply. If your range is mostly under ฿1,000, budget the full percentage.
The window is six days and I have not filed anything yet. Is it worth entering?
If you can still file a slot or a long-link voucher by 12 November, yes, on the long-link tier. Entering on the short-link tier without a new SKU means paying 35% of list price for a listing that has nothing to protect and no history to convert from.
The number to settle before 7 November
Every deadline in this piece is an arithmetic question wearing a date. The date tells you how long you have; the arithmetic tells you whether to use it. DAMI brings an 8-million-plus creator database, competitor and competitor-store creator search, automated outreach tasks, AI-assisted outreach, AI video creation, sample management, campaign management, social media management, store analytics, and multi-store team dashboards into one place.
List your four Thai tier options in a row, write the seller share next to each one, and put your day-one forecast beside the break-even multiple. Fifteen minutes with a calculator. If the new link needs more units than you can realistically sell in six days, the plan is the long link plus a slot, not the short link.
Start with DAMI and put the numbers on one sheet before the deadline decides for you.
